The Bob Bonis Archive, in association with Gallery Schuster of Berlin, is proud to exhibit a curated selection of limited edition photographs by Bob Bonis, former U.S. Tour Manager of the Rolling Stones and The Beatles during their first tours of America, featuring intimate and unguarded photos of both groups – many previously unseen – at Andaz West Hollywood on the world-famous Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, CA. This iconic Los Angeles hotel, once referred to colloquially as the Riot House for its rock & roll parties, will be displaying the photographs from September 15 through December as part of the hotel’s rotating art program.

Celebrate The Beatles’ 1964 Visit to Bel Air!
“L.A. Was A Mind Blower” – Ringo Starr
When you’re the most famous band on the planet, days off are so rare. So when The Beatles settled into Bel Air, California, for a little R&R on August 23 and 24, 1964, they really let their hair down. Bob Bonis captured superb and delightful photographs, showing the Fab Four soaking up some sun… and some silliness. Now, 51 years later, the boys are back for pool time in Bel Air as the Bob Bonis Archive releases these intimate, rare and collectible photographs to the public in limited editions to celebrate the occasion.

Get Some Satisfaction!
The Bob Bonis Archive Celebrates the Release of the Rolling Stones Mega-Hit “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”
In commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the creation, recording and release of the Rolling Stones’ signature song and number 1 hit, “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”, The Bob Bonis Archive has released a series of incredible photographs taken by the Stones’ U.S. Tour Manager Bob Bonis in 1965 of the Stones on the day “Satisfaction” was written, and in the studio where it was recorded. Rolling Stones magazine, in 2004, placed “Satisfaction” – originally released 50 years ago, on June 8, 1965 – at number two in “The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.” The exhibition Get Some Satisfaction includes previously unpublished photographs and several that have never before been offered as Limited Edition photographs. The Bob Bonis Archive has also issued previously unpublished and unreleased photos of The Beatles as well! We hope you Get Some Satisfaction from these amazing images.

The Bob Bonis Archive Celebrates the Songwriting Teams of Lennon & McCartney and Jagger & Richards
The legendary songwriting duos of John Lennon & Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger & Keith Richards have been the driving forces and the backbones of both The Beatles and the Rolling Stones, and helped power them both to the top of the charts, making them two of the most important and successful bands in rock history. In honor of these renowned teams, The Bob Bonis Archive has issued a series of previously unpublished photographs by Bob Bonis, who was U.S. Tour Manager for both groups from 1964 through 1966, including a number of other images that have not previously been offered as Limited Edition photographs, all in celebration of these two legendary songwriting duos.
