Keith Richards


Keith Richards, born on December 19, 1943, is best known as a founding member, songwriter and guitarist of the Rolling Stones. Rolling Stone magazine credited him for “rock’s greatest single body of riffs” on guitar and, in 2011, ranked him 4th on its list of 100 best guitarists. Fourteen songs that Richards wrote with the Rolling Stones’ lead vocalist Mick Jagger are listed among Rolling Stone magazine’s “500 Greatest Songs of All Time”.

He and Mick Jagger together form one of the most successful songwriting teams of all time. He is also a producer and actor.
